Wrong DefaultMedia

About

The arm that answers for what gets published.

Wrong Default Media is a publishing imprint. Everything published to an audience runs through it: the newsletter, the books, the essays, the appearances.

Why an imprint at all

The writing started as a way of thinking in public and became something with its own readership, its own standard, and its own obligations.

Naming it is not cosmetic. Advisory work and published work answer to different people. A client relationship is private and negotiated; a published claim is public and permanent. Giving the published side its own name, its own standard and its own record makes it possible to hold it to something.

The publication is The Wrong Default. The firm behind it is Wrong Default Media. The article belongs to the publication.

Who runs it

Thomas Tornatore

An AI strategy and governance practitioner based in Las Vegas, and the author of both books. Twenty-five years inside the rooms where accountability was not optional.

He is not a technologist selling optimism about the tools, or a critic selling alarm about them. He is a governance practitioner making one narrow claim: keep the human in the decision, and be able to say, afterward, why you made the call you made.
